Right Now Children are Hurting
…even here in the United States.
An estimated 1 in 14, or 5.2 million, children in the U.S. will experience the death of a parent or sibling before they reach the age of 18.
By age 25, this number nearly triples to 13.2 million.
These statistics don’t account for the number of children who have lost a “parental figure,” such as a grandparent or other primary caregiver. Foster children face a similar situation.

No one at Children’s Dream Adventures receives a salary, even our board of directors is made up of volunteers. In addition, our staff is also currently working remotely. By keeping our expenses low, you can be assured that your donations support our programs to the fullest extent.
What We Do
Children’s Dream Adventures® was founded to assist children who have lost a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver, as well as Foster Children by providing
hope, joy, experiences and opportunities
as they are navigating through difficult situations, combined with supporting other foster and grief organizations.

Children’s Dream Adventures supports grieving children and foster youth by delivering coping care packages that include an invitation for an
amazing vacation.

the family on an all-expenses paid vacation designed specifically
for them.
Nurture
We empower foster youth and grieving children by offering educational & vocational opportunities in addition to expanded activities coupled with referrals to partner organizations.

Our Vision
The vision of Children’s Dream Adventures is that children facing difficult, life-changing circumstances will live much better lives when provided hope, joy, experiences, knowledge, and opportunities.
Our Programs
The programs at Children’s Dream Adventures® are designed to facilitate successful long-term outcomes, not only by treating the acute issues, but also by providing additional life skills and opportunities.
Dream-Tailored Family Adventures
Children’s Dream Adventures assists grieving children and their families with coping after a tragic loss and providing them, as well as Foster Families, with all-expenses paid vacation of their own design, as well as providing additional programs to holistically improve client outcomes.
These 5-day all-expenses paid vacations include some spending money and fun-filled activities of their choosing.
Scholarships & Vocational Training
In addition to our vacation program, Children’s Dream Adventures will be providing additional programs for the children we serve, including scholarship & vocational opportunities. We currently have several scholarships, financial literacy and vocational training programs available to us through other organizations and corporations. CDA is in the process of arranging this information to allow access for the children we serve.
